BLEEDSOLV HAEMOSTATIC DRESSING 5x10cm – Box of 12, utilised to control bleeding
Through the process of coagulation, this dressing stops the bleeding at the wound site. The gauze placed on the wound site, allows the body to build up clotting factors, thus stopping the bleed. It then breaks down into carbohydrates and saline, natural ingredients located in the human body.
This form of dressing requires no special storage and can be used on any part of the body, where burns are present, or locations where pressure is hard to apply.
This form of dressing is also suitable for individuals with the following conditions:
- Haemophilia A
- Haemophilia B
- Haemophilia C
- Von Willebrand’s disease
- Thrombcytopenia
- Disseminated intravascular coagulation of DIC (Inability for clotting to occur, at a particular wound site)
No complex training is required for the use of this wound dressing. This product is highly compact, easy to use, and is beneficial as part of First Aid treatment.
